Back to SEO & AI SearchGEO & AEO

Make your evidence easier to find and harder to misread.

MORE is an agentic marketing agency that helps businesses become easier to discover and understand in AI-led search. We connect the questions customers ask to accurate source pages, clear answers and a useful next step.

GEO and AEO scope

Turn real questions
into clear,
findable answers.

GEO, or generative engine optimisation, reviews how a business may be represented across generative search experiences. AEO, or answer engine optimisation, focuses on whether a useful answer exists for a customer question and whether a search system can find that answer on the right page.

Both build on technical SEO, accessible pages and accurate information. External search products still decide what they retrieve, cite or recommend.

Illustrative GEO content pattern

One customer question.
A source page
built to answer it.

  1. Question

“Can this product connect to the tools our team already uses?”

We start with the wording a buyer would use, the decision behind it and the next step they need.

  2. Source

Put the answer on the page that owns it.

A capabilities page names supported integrations, plan conditions and the route to current setup details.

  3. Answer

Make the response useful on its own.

The page gives a plain-language answer, keeps conditions beside the claim and points the buyer toward setup or an enquiry.

Illustrative content pattern we prepare. It is not model output, visibility proof or a client result.

Initial deliverables

A clear first review,
ready to turn
into page changes.

We begin with the questions that matter to buyers, the pages that answer them today and the gaps that prevent a clear response.

Search eligibility map

A URL-level view of discovery, indexing, snippet eligibility and the search crawlers relevant to the agreed platforms.

Question-to-page plan

A prioritised map of buyer questions, the page that should answer each one, the source information it needs and the next action.

Priority page rewrites

Specific copy, heading, internal-link and structured-data changes that make important answers clearer without creating duplicate pages.

Visibility baseline

A starting view of available Google AI Search reporting, organic Search data, on-site actions and dated checks in other named products.

We improve eligibility, clarity and measurement. Search and AI products control retrieval, ranking and citation, so these outcomes are never guaranteed.

Measurement

See where the answer travels,
then connect it
to the next action.

AI visibility is not one score. We read each signal for what it shows, then connect it to the next useful action on the site.

01
RetrievedWas the page surfaced or consulted in the documented observation?
02
CitedWas the page linked or attributed as a source in the answer?
03
MentionedWas the business named, and was the description accurate?
04
RecommendedWas the business placed on a shortlist, with what conditions and competitors?
05
Qualified actionDid a visitor continue to an enquiry or another agreed action on the site?

Google's Generative AI performance report shows impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode by page, country, device and date when sufficient data is available. It does not show conversions or cross-platform citations. Traditional Search performance, other AI-product observations and qualified actions remain separate.

Questions clients ask
before we start.

How does GEO differ from SEO?

SEO remains the foundation: accessible pages, useful content and accurate technical signals. GEO focuses the review on how supportable facts may be retrieved and represented in generative or answer-led experiences. For Google Search, Google describes this work as part of SEO.

Can you guarantee inclusion in an AI answer?

No. We can improve technical eligibility, evidence quality and page clarity, then measure the evidence a platform makes available. The external product controls retrieval, inclusion and citation.

Do we need llms.txt or special AI schema?

Google says its generative Search features do not require a special AI file, special markup or structured data. Structured data should describe visible content and an eligible Search feature. Another system may document a separate use case, which we assess before recommending it.

Do search crawlers and training crawlers do the same job?

No. Major providers document separate roles for search retrieval, user-request fetching and model training. We review the crawler relevant to the agreed visibility goal and treat training access as a separate business choice.

How do you measure AI Search visibility?

For Google Search, we use its Generative AI performance report where sufficient data is available. For other products, we record bounded observations by product, query, date and known location. We keep those observations separate from organic performance and qualified on-site actions.
